Visiting Millport
A trip to Millport is part of the adventure! Millport is the main town on the Isle of Cumbrae,
a small island just off Scotland's west coast.
Getting there is easy. Travel to the town of Largs, where regular ferries run to the island throughout the day. The crossing takes only around 10 minutes and offers lovely views across the Firth of Clyde.
When you arrive at Cumbrae Slip, you can catch the island bus, hire a bike, or enjoy a scenic walk into Millport. The journey from the ferry terminal to the town is about 3 miles and is part of the charm of visiting the island.
Whether you're coming for a day trip or a longer stay, getting to Millport is simple, relaxing,
and the perfect start to your island escape.
Calmac Ferries operate regular services between Largs and Cumbrae Slip for foot passengers, cars, and more.
